One Dead After Weekend Crash With Scooter, SUV In Maryland: Police

The Prince George's County Police Department has identified the 30-year-old man who was killed in a crash on Saturday night.

Oxon Hill resident Darius Robinson, 30, was involved in a fatal three-vehicle crash with a scooter and SUV in Temple Hills that left him with critical injuries, according to authorities.

The crash was reported shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 9 in the 4400 block of Wheeler Road, where officers found Robinson suffering from traumatic injuries. 

He was rushed to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, officials said on Monday, Nov. 11. 

According to police, Robinson was heading east on Wheeler Road when he struck a motor scooter, then an SUV, whose occupants were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
